Draft — pending legal review
Terms of service
Last updated:
This document is a draft. Items in brackets are still to be decided, and the text may change before launch.
By creating a Briott account you agree to these terms. We wrote them so you don't need a lawyer to understand them; if anything is unclear, ask us.
What Briott is
Briott analyzes your business, creates a social media strategy and content and, if you have an active plan, publishes it on the accounts you connect. You can review and approve each post or turn on an automatic mode.
Your account
- You need a valid email address and must be at least 18.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
- If you manage other people's brands, you confirm you have their permission.
Your content
What you upload and what we generate for you is yours. You give us permission to use it only to provide the service: analyze it, create posts, publish them on your accounts and measure results. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm you have the right to use the photos, logos and text you give us.
AI-made content
- Briott doesn't invent reviews, numbers, prices or testimonials, and checks every post with automatic rules. Even so, AI can make mistakes: review what gets published, especially in automatic mode.
- You decide what gets published and are responsible for it toward your audience and each platform.
- We label synthetic content as AI-made when the law or the platform requires it.
Publishing on social networks
- We publish through official APIs and follow each platform's rules. For example, TikTok requires you to confirm every post.
- Platforms can change their rules, limit reach or reject a post. We don't control those decisions.
- If an account gets disconnected or several posts fail in a row, we pause publishing and let you know.
Acceptable use
You may not use Briott to:
- Publish content that is illegal, misleading, hateful or that infringes other people's rights.
- Impersonate another person or brand.
- Publish fake reviews or deals that don't exist.
- Send spam or automate fake engagement.
- Try to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
If you do, we may suspend your account.
Plans, payments and credits
- Getting started is free: the strategy and the first week of content don't require a card.
- Publishing requires a paid plan. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and we don't add taxes at checkout. If your country or your bank applies taxes to payments for digital services from abroad, those aren't charged by us [pending legal review for the countries where we operate].
- Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Each plan includes monthly credits for extras [to be decided: whether unused credits roll over or expire].
- If we change a price, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and we won't charge you again [to be decided: refund policy].
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Unless it's urgent, we'll warn you first.
What we can't promise
We work hard to keep Briott running well and without interruptions, but we don't guarantee specific results in sales, followers or reach. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months [pending legal review].
Changes to these terms
If we make significant changes, we'll email you at least 15 days in advance.
Governing law
[To be decided: governing law and jurisdiction.]
